Veterans Memorial Building

Veterans_Memorial_Historic.jpg

The historic Veterans Memorial Building was built in the late 1940s. It has been part of DeWitt's historic square for over 50 years.

In the late 1940s, the American Legion built the Veteran’s Memorial Building. It served as a community center for many years. The buff brick building features some cast concrete detailing and glass block windows, giving it a restrained Art Moderne-style influence. Today it has been renovated and offers a place for our community and family and friends to gather.
